This hotel is of the highest standard in all areas bar, restaurant, bedrooms, bathrooms and spotlessly clean. It is perfect either for an overnight stay or for short breaks, in the location it represents.

Delicious food was served in the bar, which was a nice touch. The rooms were really clean and had a modern feel, complete with a comfy bed and a nice bathroom. It was great to be by the riverside, adding to the charm of this old-fashioned hotel. 🌊

The hotel was good located in the mountains. Breakfast was ok but no fresh products.
The room on the road side was loudish in the night. In the evening there was only one employee for the reception, bar, restaurant and for cooking. . The food was warmed up in the microwave and it takes ages to be served for a basic food. The restaurant was awful and absolutely not recommendable. No other restaurants/bars in the near.

The hotel is located next to the main road so some noise, but very handy for people like us who were taking a break on a long journey south. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, it was possible also to make a walk (or a horse ride) directly from the hotel which was welcome after a long drive.
The food was awful. We were with 2 people and had different starters, main meals and deserts - except for my husbands ice cream quite honestly the food was really not good. Our room was very spacious, but up a 'private' set of stairs and through a very narrow opening which wasn't really welcome after our long journey. As everything was in wood, the whole bedroom area - including the bed - creaked very badly! Having said this, we may consider staying here again if we can get a simple room (but not eating at the hotel) as the location is so handy and the staff helpful.

This is a great, well established B&B/Hotel/Resturant/Bar, who welcome motorcyclists. The owner and staff were very nice. Evening meal was simple but tasty and good value. Our room/bathroom was spacious, very comfortable and well presented. It's right on the main road yet quiet. We thought it was one of the best B&Bs of our 7-night tour.

Very good dinner at the restaurant.
Noisy bed. Note: They want to have the booking conformation sheet printed out (first one ever to ask that).

Brilliant and pleasant location in Jaca, just next door to southern Spain through France, the foothills of Pyrenees, and a beautiful surroundings. Also, near the Somporte tunnel where we travelled the following day. Welcoming & tidy room, central heating and a TV in there. Great view, particularly nice breakfast options with fresh coffee.

The building is a charming old stone farmhouse that has been remodeled with modern conveniences and sits next to a beautiful river and wooded area for all of you who like nature and natures sounds. It also has an ecuestrian school on site where you can arrange for horse back riding excursions or instruction. The setting is perfect as it sits 5 minutes away from the city of Jaca so you do not have to deal with the noice and parking inconveniences of european citys but you are close enough to enjoy all that Jaca has to offer. It also is really close to all major roads leading North to France (it sits right on the n-330/e-7 carretera a Francia), East to Ordesa National Park, West to Pamplona and South to Huesca. Lots of natural and historical sites off of any one of these to keep everybody happy. The hotel has a restaurant and bar onsite with good home cooked meals for dinner. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired as it is a very basic continental breakfast with pre-packaged pastries and some cold cuts. If you plan to be out for the day at any of the nature preserves, the hotel will pack you a great picnic lunch for a modest sum. All in all our experience at Hotel Charle was wonderful we would definetly recommend this hotel. We can't wait to go back. P.S. Great service with friendly and helpful personnel.
The only thing I would improve would be their breakfast. Fresh baked pastries and breads instead of the pre-packaged items they have on offer would greatly improve the experience. There is no shortage of pastry shops any where you go. An arrangement with one in Jaca to provide these items for their guests could surely be arranged. Just a thought.
